Then again everybody can read what they want into anything, it's the ones that can't read so they take the word of some talking head the bother me. I have still heard nothing about getting a ban on all guns except from cons, maybe it's just to scare people into buying guns & driving prices up. Nah that would never work, people are way too smart to fall for that one my guess is the cost of producing guns & ammo suddenly skyrocketed & nobody is taking advantage of fear. :P

Clean out your ears. The talk of banning guns is all over the place.

And if you think the right to "alter of ABOLISH" the government applies only to voting, then why didn't the colonists just VOTE tro break from King George?

Oh that's right, tyrants have a history of not listening to the will of the people.

How would you suggest we ABOLISH a tyrannical government should the need arise?

I honestly don't know how you managed to stay alive this long Sam.

do you seriously believe that your stockpiles of "assault weapons" are going to protect you from the Gov. we are way beyond that my friend... times are not in the colonial era where everyone simply had a pea shooter or a bowling ball shooter! If the time ever comes when you or "we the people" need to rise up against our Gov. we ARE *censored*!!! "we aint gonna win that war no matter how many "assault" rifles we have.... common man get *censored* real!

What that type of talk sounds like. Bahhhh Baahhhh Baahhhh. I hope it never gets that far. But I will never be the sheep. I will also not be the sheepdog for the un-prepared .

we finished, were training and support only and its not our country and its half way around the planet and they have military and Gov support.... if that stuff happened here where is our Gov support and Military support to supply us with bombs and launchers, etc.??? now.... if your going to say "maybe part of our Gov would be involved with the resistance, etc. then fine!!! In that case we would not be using our crap weapons anyways, at that point we would be using real weapons of war.

we would be using anything we could, as people have done in the past. Look up the origins of many martial arts and their weapons. It will explain a lot to you. Anything is a weapon in the right hands or the right circumstances. I play those shoot em up games, and a good marksmen with a high powered rifle is hated by many. I have some of these "assault rifles" also.

Kevin

P.S. maybe someone should tell the resistance in that far away land that we have won. ;)

We can't resist? We sure can. Take a look at some history. We may die doing it but it can be done. I won't bow down to the man you can count on it.

Maybe Obummer needs to read this

"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

—Presidential oath of office, Article II, Section 1, United States Constitution

nobody is taking away anyones right to bear arms! were only talking about limiting to some fair degree (they same way we "limit" you from being able to bear missile launchers currently), again.... nobody is talking about taking away the right to bear arms!
why were you not crying out in protest about your right to bear other arms (like full auto weapons and hand grenades???)

And on what authority are you claiming to know where it will stop? There is no such thing as a little dead. We resist because we see the ultimate goal and either you don't or you agree with the goal and are just distracting attention from the real agenda.

Truth be told, I don't want a full auto. I believe in accurate placement of your rounds. Full auto is best used for overwhelming a position or suppression fire to move forward or to cover a retreat.

Limiting to some "fair degree"? What is fair? I can have a full auto weapon if I choose too do so and it's already "limited". As far as the grenades go, I am able to make a pipe bomb if I choose to do so. Not all that hard to do and there are many different ways to do so. You want government "protection"?............fine. Like I told you before I will not protect you. Some of us do not trust the government for many different reasons.

What if the gov. decides not to protect you or they cant protect you? And they have already taken your means to protect yourself? You assume much about a enormous entity not known for its regard towards a single or a few people. You have to look at the big picture, people are easy to get, they breed like rats. And there are many more clamoring to get "here".

Re: Gun control

PostBy: Flyer5 On: Sat Jan 12, 2013 5:34 pm

The problem is where will it stop. This year we ban mags over 10 rds . And so called assault rifles. Next month some loonie goes crazy with semi auto pistols and many 10 rd mags. Now we must be limited to single shot rifles then someone goes crazy up on a hill somewhere with a single shot rifle so we now only have single shot pistols . Well a couple of loonies gets some single shot pistols and starts taking turns shooting and loading, while someone else is swinging a bat.
So my answer is NO DO NOT INFRINGE ON Y RIGHTS ANYMORE, If you want to live with no guns or assault type rifles go live in Canada or better yet hold hands with Pierce Morgan and walk and swim your tails to Brittan. This is America we do have the 2nd amendment and we want to keep it just the way it is.
