Manometer....What kind to purchase?

Manometer....What kind to purchase?

PostBy: 94Bison On: Sat Dec 22, 2012 10:50 pm

I just googled "manometer" and it led me to ebay. There are about 500 choices on there. Any suggestions as to what I may need? Digital or not? What should I expect to pay for a decent one? Thanks!

I have purchased a few from this company with no problems.

This model is a common one on the board.

You also have to make sure of the RANGE, these are VERY LOW draft, Less than 1. Typically most stoves run about .04-.06 for draft. So, make sure you get the lowest scale. Like the DWYER MARK II Model 25 is what most of us use, that is about the lowest range available 0-3. There are some other gauges that can read a bit lower (like the Magnahelics) but probably a bit more expensive. Digital one can work fine also.

Heres a good thread on them and a good pic
