Aw dang it ! ;) I had to cure the furnace cement and get the stink paint all cured as well. I have one bag of anthracite right now . Waiting for it to get cold enough to really load her up . It's like 78 outside or something right now haha.

This is so annoying that it seems they keep uploaded sideways when they were taken upright and show up upright. I'll try uploading and linking as well.

Yes do as Fred says, I think he had that same problem so knows how to fix it.

Actually the stove installation looks so good you don't even need a fire.

Thanks guys! Any suggestions on the best compound to polish the nickel with? I use mothers for a lot of stuff but I don't know about on the stove with all the heat . That may just be asking for a stinky stove

Nevr-Dull works well and is especially good on brass pieces with crevices because it will not get into those crevices and cause green stains.

I use Never Dull all the time. It's a great, easy to use product. No fuss, no muss.

Image I came in late on this thread, and have to say, (sorry Josh), this caught my eye. "Crack me up". That's British humor, right Fred? And yes Josh your stove is drop dead gorgeous. Don't worry about polishing it. Its' just gunna get dirty anyway. It would look 20 times better than mine, even if it was painted all flat black.

Haha thanks ! It sure smells like crap right now though. All the paint and cement cutting stunk up and smoked up my whole house . I've got the windows open . I went ahead and lit a good fire in it . I've for it in base burner mode now as well. Sure heats up the house quick! I kinda miss the little WM though. It was a good little stove .

I'm sure you planned it that way Josh. It's a good time of year to have your windowstats running to eliminate the stink. We were close to 70 and sunny today. hope you're experiencing the same weather. Nice job on the whole project. Can't wait to hear your opinions on the Glenwood when winter actually hits.

It was 58 and raining today and we had all the windows open but The glenwood wasn't even very hot and still heating the house with ease.

I will Definatly put my two cents in on the glenwood this winter but I'm sure that my raves will be close to Williams !

So it seems whatever paint was used on the stove has decided to peal ? I've never experienced this with paint on a stove . Is this common?
