I wish a very Merry Christmas to all the fellow coal burners out there even though it is a little late.

Don't know what I did wrong but I got a chainsaw for Christmas !!!!!! :wtf:

Seriously it was needed as we do have some large trees that need some attention and the small 14" saws are getting tired. So this new 18" bar will work well. I might even spring for a 20" bar and chains for the larger jobs. But the wood would only be used in the outdoor fire pits here and at the son in laws place. They are nice to sit by an outdoor fire in the summer. Better than sitting in front of the TV.

Smitty, you crack me up. Now why didn't I thnk of that ????

Rick

Ha,ha Rick! Someone trying to tell you something? Hope you all had a happy Christmas. Mine was a beauty. My family was over for dinner and the rest who were down in western Mass skyped in on my new laptop Santa brought me for desserts at around 4pm. Ain't technology grand! We all set up some old timey sepia toned photographs in the library of out group which has 3 generations of folks all dressed in frock coats and old lace up shoes and gowns for the gals. Serious poses like the old pix too. ;) Then we broke out the instuments and played some music, Christmas and otherwise. Was a great time but now I'm pretty whipped, stuffed and gonna call it a day.
PS: Everyone loved the old coals stoves of course. Nice and toasty. People kept saying "Nice woodstoves"! and I'd politely correct. 8-)
