30,000 drones to fly the domestic skys by the year 2020

Thanks to the FAA Reauthorization Act. In just 7 short years we will all be safe and secure in the knowledge that big brother is watching us from above.

PS: I believe the fun begins in 2015. Do they really have to take that long to get this going?

If you have ever flown private aircraft you would say drones have been around a long time. I can't believe some of the luck some "pilots" have. Scarey


I stopped out near a Nevada testing area they had a drone flying around doing some pretty neat tight quarters maneuvers. I was going to video it then I saw a military vehicle headed our way and decided it would not be in my best interest since 911 just happened that same week. So we went on our way. The technology I am sure has improved since then.
