Nor'easter

Best I can tell here we got about 10 - 11 Inches.
I like the snow for awhile. Then I get tired of it and am ready for spring!

Nightmare, not so cold so after about 4" of snow (baby stuff) it then rained/iced for 4 hours and then this morning remained at 26F and is now icing again. I'll swop all of this for three feet of powder, that I can handle with ease. The Skid steer with the 10' plow is as useless as a Harman pellet stove as a tire came off. The DB1210 with the 6' back blade is as useless as a Kenyan President as it is skidding over everything. I can't even climb up a ladder and jump off the roof as the ladder is in the back of the barn that I can't get to. My only bright spot in life is the Messiah is back from HI all tanned up and ready to go to show exactly where we go to jump off the cliff as he and Saul have planned all along. If anybody wishes me a Happy New Year, I will smack them.

Not nary nothin' here; just a dustin'. Nice to have a roof over my head but I didn't feel safe indoors with all that wind last night. PTSD (Post Typhoon Sandy Discomfort)

Yes but at least you have a santa toy a supercute Jotul NR500 to play with. Get that sucker fired up and don't forget the camera. At least then there will be something to amuse me.

coalnewbie, no matter what goes on, there's always something worser. Had an Ambulance call last night--a good friend right up the road was putting chains on his tractor, had a massive heart attack (71) I'd say he was dead before he hit the ground. I went up this AM to help out milking around 8 AM & his wife already had it about done. Helped clean the milk house & came home to my own plowing. cn--Happy New Year my friend. :)

Sorry to hear that Fred but thanks for being the good neighbor you always are.

It's a good blow that started here around 6am. Snowing now with about 4" down and blowing around. Says it's gonna change to rain.

PS: Was the third day of Christmas and a Lylac bush ;)

Hmm, perhaps I will stay in until the ice ends, I'm getting too old for this chit. Life is different upstate and I am sorry for your neighbors wife, however, you are a close knit community, something that is missing around here.

Look at the weather radar right now, there is a circular gap in central NH, no ice or snow. For those of you that are mystified by this I can tell you that is the effect of Whistlenut firing up all of his stoves at once.

OK, Newbie, I'm liking your way of thinkin' more all the time, and, yes, I did fire the KA30 last night and 3 AA 260's. I may have a 'core meltdown' coming, but for now, it is just warming the surrounding 50 miles. Why have you not gotten a stoker?

One big enough to get the attention of the feds? Are the folks in Chester, NY suffering from 'shorts that are tooooooo tight? Bag constriction? Nice to have a sense of humor.....especially if you are 'weggee prone'! :D  :!:
