Why have you not gotten a stoker?
I do have my AnthraKing AK110 crankin' in the house and I love that stove, it's making it for now as of course with a 7000' leak box to heat it will be outclassed some day. A little Jotul 507 in the study to amuse me and an extra brand new AK110 ready for when it gets real bad that I have never even fired up yet - I hope it works. There are technical reasons why a single AK220 was not considered. Somebody had to pay for Dave's arsenal :D. I pray for the Chinese military if they ever try to take Berwick :) . Last winter did not count as a winter around here so I never even tested it out. I am very happy with my heating system but of course all this is small time stuff compared to your output.

Newbie...I understand the stokers you have, and they work very well. I am thinking there is a reason you can't have a massive central heating system an one larger stoker. If you are warm, that is all that is required! That AK 110 does produce LOTS of heat, and use a surprisingly small amount of coal. Great snowball snow......

Bag constriction? Nice to have a sense of humor.....especially if you are 'weggee prone'!
I have fired up ol' reliable the cat 955H, OK, now lets' try that ice battle again.. nothing stops that sucker. My neighbor down the road is iced up too and he can't move until I get to him. but his new(ish) 5 series Beamer is cleaned off and he even used hot water I swear. WN, you have no idea...

Great snowball snow......
If I made a large snowball out of this stuff (assuming I could even lift it) and threw it at someone it might kill them.

Yup, they only get dumber as the weather gets worse. Had to deal with a bunch of them this morning, roads were plowed but shitty still. Got behind a guy doing 30. It was me and the wife in the Subaru. Whipped out from behind him and passed him. My foot was to the floor and the car didn't even know there was snow under foot.

Yeah, the probably do but it's more than likely something like this, 'Dayum! I wish I could drive half as good as that idiot.'

Just finished an hour of plowing. The snow was blowing so hard it was creating slush on the windows...the solution was to plow with the windows open.

Looks like we got about a foot so far.

I went out this afternoon and just came home. Half my driveway was plowed. I have no idea who did it. It was either my 80 year old neighbor or the 29 year old cop who lives on the next block over. My neighbor has a snow blower and the cop has an ATV with a plow. One side of the driveway has what appears to be snow blower tracks and foot prints behind it then the other side of the driveway has drag marks from a plow. Did they tag team my driveway?

Either way, I appreciate it. My snow blower is still broken; it pisses gas out of the exhaust which I can only assume is the carb. I tried to fix it this fall but I couldn't figure out how to take the damn thing apart. I hate shoveling to boot.

Windy here too, creaking noises every time there's a big gust. Makes me nervous!

Looks like we got about a foot and it's still snowing like a bastard. Windy as all hell, have the candles ready for the outage. This is my 2nd winter burning coal and I'm glad I started with the hand fed. I do want a boiler some day because I have an oil hwheater, but I'll always keep the hand fed just in case!...oh yeah just remembered, been plowing with my Honda 450 es what a trip!
