The 24 hour period from 1/14/13 to 1/15/13 she ate her way through 190lbs. I got to get the covers and insulation on it. It is keeping to boiler room 75 just from waste heat off the boiler.

Most of the time it is on high limit on a call for heat. I have 7 zones hooked to it so it is rare not to have 1 calling. I set high limit 185 and low 160 with the differential 10 on both. i am a little worried about putting the high up to 200 as I have pex in the system. on the rare ocassion that there is not a call it is usually 170-175. Today it only used 160lbs for 24 hours.

How much coal did you burn daily with your old C-70 under similar weather conditions?

The lack of boiler insulation is costing you a lot of coal. That is one BIG radiator.

I never burned hard coal with the c-70 it would go through the soft coal and wood like it had a brother in-law selling it. I am not complaining about the amount of coal it is using. I know I am wasting a lot with no jacket or pipe insulation.
