Has anyone used one? Any recommendations. Looking at the 550 possibly in the future.

Its the cadillac of reloaders. You must have alot to load. Do you need a progressive press or just a simple press? What are you reloading?

Oh, nothin'.

I want to be able to reload my 223s and 270s. maybe a few others. It just seems like it is not much more than say a hornady press. But it does seem to be worth the extra.

I've got the Hornady setup. Thing is great! Can crank out the rounds like a small factory. Bought it a couple years ago, and at the time, there was nothing better. I've had a couple small quirks I needed to iron out with it and the case feeder, but once that was done it performed flawlessly.

That flap of cardboard keeps that primer stick from getting caught under the bullet feeder. Could've probably come up with a more creative fix, but it works.

You can also see my wife's *censored* encroaching on my space. I'm gonna drop the hammer on that .... :x

Is it as fast as the Dillon? I have an older turret press, but I use it for bullet seating as I have a RockChucker set up to resize. LEE Auto prime and then weigh every charge for hunting. I need some thing to get away from this expensive game we are in with supply and demand for .223. and handgun ammo. And I regret not keeping all the swaging equipment and lead and melting pots and etc. I used to have. :(

Yea I was trying to price things out and most places are out of small primers. But seems like the way to go.

It's actually real easy for me to get her to clean it. I just say "you clean it .. or I will". She knows when I clean, it goes in the fire or in the trash. :D

Hornadys are very good. Its usually all the average weekend-warrior needs. Can easily do 1000-2000 rds every weekend, and not skip a beat.
