I am trying to wire my 4006B control valve.

I had one person tell me to hook this directly to my triple aquastat thermostat or to a dump zone.

I have 3 zones, and ideally I would like to use my downstairs basement as the dump zone, I have a thermostat already wired downstairs. Can I wire both in parallel so the zone turns on for either or just stays on if the 4006B limit hits and the zone 3 is still calling?

Besides the zone 3 staying on longer or getting hotter than usual is there any problem doing such a thing? Has anyone done this, I have been searching posts for a few days and have not been able to find this question? Thanks for your help.

Just connect a thermostat wire from the 4006B to the contacts for that zone, it can be done in parallel with an existing thermostat.

As Rob said........hook your 4006B thermo wires to the same connectors as your downstairs thermo wires. That's what I did. :D
