Tended boiler this morning usual routine. went to work, came home house was a bit hot, 78* WHAT THE Eyyyy!! was running dump relay..???? all doors closed tight on boiler... wait aux air servo door was open HUH! a small piece of coal got down in by pivot area, and wedged there from this morning.. Grrr!! boiler temp was to 230*... who knows how long dump was on or aux air door open. opened windows in house, opened firebox door, threw some coal on top of load to cut air flow down, and cool off embers. Alll was good no temp blo offs. Gots to be more attentive of that fromm here on out... WHEW!!!
GF was home most of day. Guess its time to get her working the boiler, loading, checking on, etc.
