Barack doesn't have to win (or even run) to get another 8 years in the Whitehouse. Michelle is going to run and win and they are set for another 8 years of exotic vacations and golfing.

For the record. I called this about a week ago while talking to a few friends. I had a feeling this *censored* was going to try something like this. It's one more step for us to be all rounded up and murdered.

I reposted on my facebook page. My brother commented that this happens in virtually every case of a transition to another form of gov. Pick and "ism" or maybe an "ist". I have to agree. A bill can be put in by anyone with a sponsor, we already know these parties exist in the US and have for years. So I guess it is not a suprise.

Relax, folks. You're being EMOTIONALLY MANIPULATED! Remember your history! The same idea was floated when Reagan was popular. It is totally ridiculous, just a political ploy to stir up the party base. When Reagan was president, the Democrats pretended the GOP wanted the amendment. Now when Obama is president, the GOP will pretend the Dems are hot to trot. Read up on the procedure for amending the constitution -- there's not a snowball's chance in hell that an amendment like that would succeed, and certainly not in the four years leading to the next election.

This would need a 2/3 vote by Congress and then 3/4 vote by the states, never happen.

They've done end runs around most of the Constitution at this point. Why would this be any different?

I remember my grandfather saying something along the lines of ... it'll be a cold day in hell the day any politician messes with the Second Amendment.

I can't think of how you do end run around anything as specific as 2 terms and if that were attempted even if were successful he loses by widest margin in any Presidential election ever.

Much of the Bill Of Rights (the first 10 Amendments) has been clearly obliterated without ever being repealed by first the approval of 2/3 of congress followed by the approval of 3/4 of the states legislatures.

For eaxmple: What meaning do the 9th and 10th Amendments have in todays America. Absolutely none. Were they repealed?

Obama Care and 17 Trillion in debt without a budget this will never happen we just wont let it happen . Oh yea and if it does the supreme court will just shoot it down. No worry! This is beyond gloom and doom, it is happening. I doubt they will let it go but I also doubted he would get a 2nd chance. He is now the almighty savoir and he saved us from the fiscal cliff. Those damn congressmen not letting us spend money we don't have how dare they.

Yes, I don't think any of us said they were going to do it the legal way. The gov. has shown they can legislate and proclamate and EO around just about anything. And who is stopping them?
