That's the equivalent of 3 million people working full-time, year-round.

The USA is the best country on earth for ME, I never said it was for you. You seem awfully cynical and always seem to have a chip on your shoulder. The world is your oyster Jeff so instead of bitchin and moaning about how lousey everything is how about changing it or your situation? You have the same opportunities that everyone else has and I don't just mean here. Go after them and be happy!

Several weeks ago, the City of Orlando notified us that our vegetable garden violated the city’s antiquated local ordinances. Either tear up the vegetable garden, they said, or else. The “or else” the city is referring to is a draconian system of penalties that would subject us to fines of up to $500 per day. This in a city that claims it strives to be the “greenest city in America.”

What was their "crime"? They planted vegetables in their FRONT yard. For that, they are looking at a $500/day fine.

Sorry folks. I just don't believe in the existence of "private" property in this country.
