I'm really shocked MA politicians haven't jumped up in solidarity with NY. I think they know deep down that some of the bloodline that started Lexington/Concord still lives here. Smart, they are.

You guys need to flood those congressional offices with phone and emails now.

I just read they are outlawing "assault weapons." If you have one now, you will have to register it and get licensed every 5 years. BUT, it cannot be transferred. You can't sell it and presumably when you die, it goes to the state. And "to prevent more tragedies like Newtown", they are going to limit mags to 7 rounds. That ought to do it.

Heard this on the way in to work this morning. Pretty sure that the criminals living in Brownstone are going to jump at the requirement to register their guns and turn in their high capacity magazines in exchange for the 7 round ones.

I can see gun crime skyrocketing now. *censored* idiots.

I love my home, all my family is here in NY, my job is stable, and now I wish I could move to a place where people are free. I now live in a state of shock. What is next for legal/law abiding gun owners in NY..... ?

I heard they are giving away a 126 yr old statue as well. Something about its not needed anymore. It was just restored. Made in France.
