This is our Pug Lucy. She is 7 years old and such a great part of the family. This Summer I taught her to use the ladder in the Inground pool. It is hysterical. When we 1st got her she couldnt swim and was afraid of the pool. Now I cant keep her out!!

We had a very bad evening last Thursday night when our dog chased something out into the road at the wrong time and was killed. It was over instantly so there was no suffering for the animal. We had always been careful to keep her away from the front of the house and had never had a problem with her going that direction, so this is just a reminder to take the precautions necessary to keep the "dumb dogs" from running the wrong way at the wrong time. As all you dog owners know it is a tough thing to go through and especially if you have youngsters that are really attached to the dog. Our 10 year old is especially taking it hard which is making it extra hard for us too.

It`s always hard to lose a member of the family & thats what they become. When the time is right just happen to be in the neighborhood of the local rescue or a good breeder & let the 10 year old take a look around, I`d be willing to bet you leave with another friend.
