The only thing is around here, please keep us up to date and make sure to keep the CO detectors working at all times. I really like the ones with the digital readouts.

Yes, he won't be burning wood in his 608. A laps of reason on my part for sure.

Just bought a digital co up and running .thanks for the link and info for now the odor has subsided i took the older coal out have put other in a difference in weather alot colder today bit ogf breeze dont know just keeping tabs on it now.

Be sure to check the gasket on the back of the grate that the fire is on. The longest i have run my 608 without cleaning is 3 months. I was surprised at the amount of fly ash. Be sure that you remove the stove pipe from the top and clean the top section. If you have small enough hands you can reach down and be sure the vents are clean on the sides. If not you will have to make a special tool.

Yes i run a baro damper and also a manometer. This is my 3rd year running it no problems. Its a great stove i wouldn't change a thing on it
