SCAM heads up.

A SCAM heads up. I just received another call from someone who said that they are from Google Analytics. Oriental voice offering to scan my computer for problems. Don't ever allow anyone remote access to your computer and hang up on these calls. This is the second one in 2 weeks.

There are other versions of this same scam that have been around for awhile, like the caller who claims to be affiliated with Microsoft or some other legitimate company...

Thanx for the heads up urdahere, you take the fun out of things,just bein a dumb old farmer, I get a kick out of these kinda scams and I'm constantly amazed at how stupid people can be-- The line for me is drawn when it involves the elderly--that's right you young woodpeckers--older then me

Just tell them the truth, you only look at it for coal and boobies. You aren't worried about anything else unless you're cold or the missus has been nice to ya!

All 800, 900, 888, out of area, or private calls get blocked here. If it's not a real number, it doesn't get answered.

I am sorry, so do you think Microsoft is a legitimate company? ... they are the worst crooks of them all.

For the first time in the history of the PC, Microsoft is rolling out a new Windows ecosystem for which they will be the sole software distributor. If you buy Windows 8, the only place you will be able to download software that integrates with its new user interface will be the official Windows Store. Microsoft will have complete control over what software will be allowed there.

Keep those Win 7 disks handy and mostly worry about anything from Microsoft.
