Are News & TV Stations stupid or is it Me?

more news engulfing my TV i just really could care less about hearing or knowing.
Im thinking im stupid for not throwing my TV out the window and going radio full time

It can be seriously annoying. They produce shows for the lowest common denominator of society at the lowest budget possible. My customer called and had a no signal message on his TV. He usually tries me first before specialists. The back of his entertainment center looks like somebody spilled a bowl of spaghetti on the rigging of a windjammer.
We ended up getting him another cable box, it's amazing how much it goes through to set itself up. I think he just had a loose hdmi cable which is too short and it was hard to get to.
Point is, I haven't watched the news since The Emperor of Welfare got re-elected, and I ended up watching a few minutes of it at the guys house today. Lance Armweak all contrite talking to Bloprah, extreme panic inducing dialogue about some incident in some horrible desert towel head country. If you haven't watched it in a while you see how negative it all is.
I heard that governments keep control by keeping the citizens fearful and demoralized.

Technology is like fire. If your the master of it, it's very beneficial.

When crap like those TV shows you listed is constantly fed into young heads, is it any wonder society has the problems it has?

With advances in technology coming at a faster pace than at any time in history, this is only going to get worse. MUCH worse, if we don't realize what the hell we're doing and wake up.

10 years from now, computers WILL have all 5 senses! This is a FACT. You think Siri is high-tech? That ain't nothin' compared to what's just a few years down the road here. As some wise man once said, we betta check ourselves before we wreck ourselves.

I haven't watched regular TV in a year or so. When I did the other night, it was SHOCKING. Just the TV shows, and even the commercial content. It was then I realized we're being fed little bits of *censored* over time, so a whole plate of it doesn't taste bad anymore. Same technique is being used for socialism, and stomping on the Constitution. When does it stop? When is enough, enough?
