I Have A Great Coal Burning Daughter

I Have A Great Coal Burning Daughter

While I still live & work in the Lower Peninsula of MI (for about 5 more months) wife and daughter live in our house in the Upper Peninsula, where we heat with coal (sometimes wood). Drove from lower to upper tonight (now 1:35am) and walked in to the most warm, inviting house possible. Wondered if 23 y/o daughter, who lives with us, had wood or coal fire in Yukon-Eagle furnace. Opened firebox door to the most beautiful coal fire just happily glowing away. She's a chip off the old block! A born pyro like her daddy! I think she makes better coal fires that I do! Daughters who understand coal furnaces rock!! :D This one also tends our farm animals, kills/guts/cleans fowl, all sorts of things, when she's not being a LPN.

I still have one bottle of mead left - from 1988. Mighty good stuff - use champagne yeast ;)
