Plumb-r doesn't get up on a podium as the leader of the strongest military power in the world to demonize the rich, & tell us they must trample upon the Constitution for the "collective" ( nice left wing buzzword there ... ) Sam.

This president has done more to divide classes and races than any president in the history of America. The media takes his cause and runs with it, while fawning all over him like teenage girls at a Beiber show. Don't know whether he keeps them in line by force, or those in charge of said media are all just communist leftist moonbats.

Smitty, the only thing that has been done & it's been by both sides is actually showing the average person how divided we have been but it is true that we are going father apart rather than closer. :(

I agree, but you gotta see the difference with this president - I certainly can. I didn't watch his inauguration speech, but got the highlights - it was the complete 100%, 180° polar opposite of Reagan's speech in '81. At least Reagan tried to work with dems ..... this guy tells Reps, "it's my way or nothing". He expects R's to give up their principles and vote the way HE wants.

He's certainly not helping the divisiveness of today.

Obama's the one carrying the big chip on his shoulder not me. But I guess it's not that hard for him when he has others to help bare the weight. Back at you Sam. :D

It's all the President's fault yet the Republican's admitted that they spent the last 4 years trying to obstruct and block anything he tried to do good or bad and regardless of whether or not it hurt the country. Their total focus to hold him to one term and it failed. That was THE biggest reason that they lost the election. If they keep it up, things will only get worse for them. The election was held and the people chose the mandate. It's time to work together and actually get something done.

Steve, you've bought the media mantra hook, line, & sinker. The Republicans HAD several plans - all of which were not only shot down, but ridiculed & demonized as well. Who can forget the commercial of the old lady in a wheelchair going over the cliff?? Who remembers Obama LOCKING OUT ALL REPUBLICANS from the Obamacare debate??? I sure do. His idea of Republicans being "reasonable" is to forego their principles and become more like democrats, while democrats become more like socialists.

Yeah, as a Conservative I want dirty water, unsafe kids, and polluted air. Yeah .... gimme a friggin' break!

One of the other big reasons Romney lost was he threatened to get people back to work. I know, how dare he!

I think it was more like the people didn't believe him since he talked out of both sides of face so often. He said that it wasn't up to the government to provide jobs at every stop during the GOP convention, then during the debates, all he could talk about was Obama hadn't provided jobs and he would. Of course he had provided allot of jobs, unfortunately they were mostly to India and China! ;)

Steve, why is it that you can only bash Romney, who is out of the picture; rather than give one example of how Obama has helped this country?
You got your Marxist Messiah, the tip of a long anti-American spear that continues to wound the principles of free enterprise.
Did you mention you're retired? So I guess you're not intending to start a new business in the face of more stifling regulations and increased taxes on the ambitious and productive.
Why would jobs go overseas now? Because govt' regulations are making it harder and harder to start or run a business. Caterpillar is desperately trying to keep facilities in this country; the unions will make no concessions.

Obama has increased the food stamps, loosened welfare reform, and the only jobs he's created are more govt. bureaucratic ones.

I could only tolerate a few seconds of the inauguration, but I did catch this, "This isn't a nation of the lucky!". He's said other things like, " I like to spread the wealth around." " I want a level playing field for everybody."
But the intention is to force the productive to support the unproductive, plain and simple.
What are his plans to reduce the national debt?
What are his plans to enforce existing immigration laws?
What are his plans to bolster the economy and create jobs?
What are his plans to keep our military strong and respected?

I'm pretty sure you can't answer those questions. Either you're emboldened by the recent victory of evil; or you're simply further brainwashed, IMO.

Dann, SB whoever, why not give some examples of all these taxes & regulations, all I hear is he did this or that but don't see it anywhere. I had a business, the only big tax differences or deterrents I found were local. Every time the Democrats want something to help the economy the Republicans won't allow it. Even some in the GOP have admitted to it, their main agenda was to keep the economy down so Obama would be a one term Pres.. That obviously didn't work, why not get over yourselves & start working for the country & I'm saying that for both parties for there is some fault on both sides but it's time to get out of the schoolyard & get on with the business they are elected to do.

Well for starters, after Obama claimed "NO ONE MAKING LESS THAN $250K A YEAR WILL HAVE THEIR TAXES GO UP ONE CENT!", my wife's paycheck mysteriously shrank by 2% due to increased federal taxes. She makes 10% of $250K .... so what happened there????

I'll tell you. It's called ...... Obama math.

Smitty, that's called Congressional math, they allowed the 2% tempory SS tax cut to expire. Didn't just pick on your wife it happened to everyone with the approval of Norquist.
