If you are thinking of a boiler system for hot air like Waldo suggested , please look at a Keystoker Boiler. I have one and it great, on my fifth year now. I don't have hot air but the boiler works great for my base board and domestic hot water.

Mike,

If you are still selling wagons of coal, i may just end up buying one off you yet!! :D

A new chimney is out of the question. My daughter needs her closet space ;)

You do know we have the AK110 furnace as well? 1800 cfm fan and controlled by the coal trol.
Here is a pic of the heat exchanger. I guess you could say we were thinking outside the box. LOL

Dave -

Have you guys given any thought to making your own water-tube boilers? That heat exchanger looks a lot like my Smith/Mills 350.

If I were you I would go with a boiler and replace your elec. baseboard with hot water BB. You will be much happier in the long run.
