Someone in PA, near the PA NY border could keep your illegal NY rifle in their safe. Would you as a NY owner of that rifle, have to register it still? Or is it possessing it?
That NY web site is a joke. I really need to see 50 pictures of single action revolvers to sink in my mind that they do not have a detachable 30 round magazine. What's with the 50oz limit? Some Ruger Mark 22's with a long target barrel are very close, some older model may be over.
How is the background check going to work on ammo? Come back for your $3 box of 22 rimfire in about a month and we'll let you know if you are able to purchase it. This will happen everytime you buy ammo? You bought 300 rounds of 22 lr in the last 5 years so you will have to prove you have used it up by giving us the spent brass or providing 150 squirrel tails. If you fail, the Nazi's will come knocking your door down and we will confiscate all your magazines, pistols and rifles.
Since you are on the no-bang list for once purchasing 22cb caps and 22 shorts, your tube magazine would have held 31 rounds and therefore you would have been future non-compliant where we banned all tube feed rifles.
We are saving the taxpayers money by enforcing laws that do not yet exist, but we have scratched on paper napkins and are currently talking about.
Once we determine that they are not illegal pistols and rifles, you may come to the station and pick up your rusted weapons. We may have lost a few. But you are now responsible for any and all usage because you did not report them stolen. There will be a storage fee for the year we had them. Your magazines will be sent out to a independent contracted dealer whom will determine whether they are 7, 10 , or 30 round and are capable of being modified, are currently compliant, future compliant, futurely modifed, or whatever else may be on the paper napkins. We may lose a few of the magazines also. But you are now responsible for any and all usage because you did not report them stolen. There will be a storage and inspection fees for the years we had them.
Your barrel on the bolt action rifle you submitted(when your ammo purchase was declined and we confiscated all your weapons) was perfectly round on the end, therefore, capable of being threaded, therefore it is an assault rifle, which you have not registered, therefore we reserve the right to confiscate any and all arms in your house. You once transferred a weapon to a family member so we reserve the right to also confiscate any and all weapons and ammo from them also.
Muzzle brakes considered a flash suppressor? My single column 9mm holds 8 rounds? Threaded poly choke on grandpas shotgun? Jail time. Wait, a bolt action shotgun with a magazine? too easy to modify, also no serial number or any attempt to have the serial number engraved and registered, jail time. Grandpas Walther P38, 8 rounds, go directly to jail. Tube feed Marlin model 60, oh no, hold on, grooved scope mounts and 18 rounds, you can hold onto the tube while you shoot and not touch the barrel , illegal.
