Let me first see if I can offer a explanation of mitigation regarding a post I once made in a moment of anger, and no meds.
One I might add I offered to issue in an open letter of apology . In a Pm the mayor wrote that he felt that it wasn't necessary . I can see now that maybe it was, anyway lets see if I can clear it up.The very day before one of these jacklegs with their assault rifles in public ,don't remember which, I had to spend a very painful night trying to get my 7 yr old twins to stop crying because they were afraid ( sandy hook) that someone was going to kill mom and dad while they slept. You and I all know we really have other things more pressing to worry about, however they don't, no matter how reassuring as parents and teachers and adults we are. So , being a considerate human being I automatically thought of a parent with small kids running into one of these stunods out exercising their rights and trying to desensitize the public to assault rifles. Thinking of the fear those kids would have had coming on the heals of sandy hook;then reading all of the posts saying "oh boo hoo, get over it" its our right no matter the consequences! That is the thinking of a sub human organism or a sociopath- " one who lacks empathy for others" Especially small kids, I mean come on!!!
Anyway, thats where my head and heart was and I reacted POORLY and I APOLOGIZE . I have struggled my entire life with my temper and rarely it does get the best of me as it did that day. Again, Sorry.Fred,
If your confused about me you aint alone . I dont fit squarely in one box or another.But, on the gun issue let me be clear, The second amendment is non negotiable; However it is an AMENDMENT and it certainly doesnt trump the original bill of rights, Life liberty and the pursuit of happiness ect... That was in the BOR correct? Larry?
