The media and the politicians have people scared. He was already guilty because the media and governemnt said he is.

Secondly if more guns were present in the public they would be more comfortable with them. After the flood the one neighbor was open carrying for a while. Didn't faze me but I know many of the people living there were probably a little nervous about it. I'm sure they got over it after a day or two.
