Yes, What I would do next is start turning stuff off you have running in the taskbar, do them one at a time and see if any make a difference. I'm referring to those icons located next to the clock. Start with the ones you absolutely don't need like any kind printer software etc. Or if there's any icons there related too something you have downloaded and installed.

Which brings to mind something else.... don't you have some kind of smiley program installed for your e-mail? those are notorious for containing spyware/malware programs.

That is still my guess... you either have some kind of virus/spyware running or you have a security software conflict.

I got rid of 3 icons yesterday. The smilies are part of my email program I downloaded. I have been in denial about that as well. Plus all those really cool jokes & pics mostly come from a gal that just Fw's her Fwds from fw's & fw's. They may have given me a bug? I have so much saved in my Incredimail that I would have to take days & hours upon hours to save each & every message into a regular file. It may just be that I have so much in my email folders that is slowing me down? I have quite a bit saved in it for my business. If I loose it, I will have to start over from scratch. There are many resources that I have stashed there. Do you know if it's possible to save the entire program to a disk? I have never done a real data disk. Just MP3's in data format so here I am again, needing to learn yet another task. Ughhh... :banghead:
