Where's NEMO? Status update

Rocking hard now, heavy and wet too. I was surprised on the MA travel ban. In all the years I've been pushing snow-never seen
THAT before. Just hit the drug store in one of the plow trucks to pick up a script for the bride....cop in parking lot, walks over
to me and asks what am I doing out as he looks at my plow. I pointed to my plate- a MA snow removal plate- he said ok, be safe. Soooo, I'm thinking they
want ticket money. It IS easier getting the work done with out idiots sliding all over the place. Most plow trucks do not
have snow removal plates, just straight commercial. The tickets will fly tonight!

Beautiful here in Groton City. Trees are all outlined in snow. About 7 inches so far and it's still coming down. Temp at 30 out and 72 inside. There's not a sound to be heard outside. No cars at all. Even the geese in the creek have hunkered down. Hope to get some great pics in the morning as long as the wind does not kick in.

Stay safe down there in Mass. and CT.

It snow almost all day here, but not Nemo. We got three inches of lightest fluffiest stuff ever. It stopped at about 3 this afternoon. Nemo is late.....they'd said starting around 2 or 3, yet here it is 8PM & it's just now starting to snow in earnest. Does late mean it's staying away, or does late mean it's going slower and will pile up more? Ask me tomorrow afternoon!

Wow. Trees are covered in snow. Pines are bending pretty good. Not a lot of snow but the wind is nuts.

I caught a .1 on my manometer with the baro wide open.

 This is the northeast after all. ;)

Getting pounded now. Storm totally stalled right on top of MA & spinning. Other storm is stalled over NY - neither is moving except in a circle. With the heater on, my rain gauge is reading .08" - .13" per hour with a quarter inch total so far. Barometer still trending downward - got a ways to go with this one. Might live up to the hype. Couldn't care less either way. House is warm & have plenty of fuel on hand for the generator. Fixed a snowblower for a neighbor. We're ready. BRING IT! :punk: :box:

Maybe 12" as of now 10:20pm, wind is moderate to heavy at times.

Had a great time with the parents just chillin and reminiscing. Good times.

I'm just lookin' at the security cams - all I see is white. Can't tell what we got so far. Doesn't look anywhere near a foot. Isn't a single mark on my street. Looks like part of my yard right now. Can't tell where my driveway ends & the street begins. Not one vehicle has gone by in 6 hours. Sand truck went by 8 hours ago. That did NOTHIN'.

Pine in the backyard snapped 2/3 the way up. Birch tree in the front broke in a similar spot and took out my mailbox on the way down.

Yeah looks like you guys down there got the wet heavy stuff. You were 12 degrees warmer than us at 6pm. We're at 18° now, but it never got above 27° all day today. It was that "warm" for an hour. Snow has been tiny flakes, and very dry and drifting. It's blowing everywhere. Just like the '78 Blizzard I remember. Going to have some DEEP drifts tomorrow.
