OK folks... since I've been seeing alot of rage towards the vehicles people own, im going to give this one simple, inexpensive way to solve a problem when you feel that you have been injured in any way...
Its called filing a civil suit for $25.00 at your local courthouse... I bought a Honda and after my warranty ended at 80,000 miles... all of a sudden I get that stupid check engine light (in this state that a major problem),
I bring it in to the closest dealer who tells me "ohhh its NP... we just need to replace your CAT and that will be $2,000 please sir", I said "i don't have $2.00 never mind $2,000 because I spent it all on this damb new truck  ". I then went directly to the dealer I bought it from and explained how mad I was this happened 5,000 miles after the warranty ended (like it was planned  ), he gave me some BS about me buying the parts and they would do the labor for free... I said no thank you can I please have the name and ady of the owner so I can file suit against him (he gave me the owner info). within 2 hours I get a call asking me to bring the truck down and they will make all the repairs free of charge... I said does that include a free rental car for me and free lunch and he said absolutely... Problem Solved :P

The main issue in most cases is that it cost more to defend any case with an attorney (and large company's use attorney's) then most any repair would ever cost.
