Gun owners should dump Comcast

If they don't support the Second Amendment, why should we support them?

Well fred my connection really doesn't matter as far as the forum actually running except for maintenance and backups. Worse case scenario and I have to set it up on another host it would take a few more hours for the basic features if I was on DSL. Fully restoring it with all the uploaded files would take days as opposed to hours with cable. Having said that I'm just not dealing with a slow internet connection.

Soooo, I retract my previous reasoning ;) We could all cut back on a bunch of things to express our dis-satisfaction, but I guess that would create some inconvenience over-all. :(

How about we somehow start a "I will not buy anything from any advertiser on Comcast until they agree to allow legal ads to air?" If other advertisers feel a pinch, it might lead to change.

My choice is these guys (Comcast) or deathly slow dial up again. It's not a matter of choice in this redneck, liberal bastion I live in at the present. :x

Like Freddy said - Email all their sponsors and tell them you will not do business with them because they do business with Comcast, who doesn't allow firearm advertisements. Companies tend to change their tune when they get hit hard in the wallet. ;)

Locally and I'm sure nationally, some banks are telling gun manufacturers and gun sellers they do not want their business. Bank of America and M&T Bank I know for sure have taken these actions. I don't patronize either of these banks.

God, I should hope so :) I was thinking about after listening to the possibility of all this cyber stuff being hacked/ shut down, etc Would we as a Country be able to survive??? Do people have back up plans--I mean as far as I understand it---the writing is on the wall--way off topic, but I'm just curious.

If & when the people finally have had all they can take & revolt, the internet would be the FIRST thing the gov't shuts down.

Best case scenario .... there's no revolt and just complete economic collapse with people fighting in the streets for the last box of Doritos, they'd probably shut it down then as well.
