- Hot Air Coal Stoker Stove: Leisure Line Hyfire II
My 14" hot air jacket inline fan seemed to have died. I found several similar models online ranging from $70 to $170 all with similar specs ... 140 degrees max temp. The fan I have does not have any markings on it to identify what make / model it is and I want to be sure I get the right thing to withstand the high temp ... presumed to be above 140 degrees ~30 inches from the top of the stove ... as it indicates on the fan housing. The fan motor is a fasco d133. I also want to ensure the fan motor will work properly with the Coal-Trol module, which slows the fan based on the heat output. Any advise would be greatly appreciated!

Not answering your question, but, could you push cold air instead of pulling hot air?

Whats the AMP Rating of the blower, I cant remember the MAX rating of the CoalTrol output, maybe like 2 or 3 amps total?
I would ask Neil or Paul from CoalTrol to be sure.

I have the same 14" fan on my Hyfire II.
I never ran that fan from the coaltrol. I put a flue switch above the stove.
I'm pretty sure that you need the external contacts on the coaltrol to run a relay to power that 14" fan.
