Hello Everyone..
On the Harman web site, they have listed a Bulk Hopper... http://hearthnhome.com/downloads/brochures/BulkHo ... r.pdf...It seems like a nice unit, but Harman lists that it is compatable with their wood pellet products only, and ommits coal...
I'm wondering why this would be? Its too bad if that is the case..
Of course, being Harman, there aren't any details concerning the construction of it, or other particulars that would make investigating the thing user-friendly...
Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts/experiences...or if anyone has actually found out more ino on these things..
Thanks!
Harman Bulk Hopper

This hopper has been around a few years and it's been listed as not for use with coal since day 1. Don't know why for sure.

Wow 1,800 bucks equals 2 years of coal for me! I have three pairs of shoes because the wife says I need too. My choice would be one pair and a half ton of coal.katman wrote:Last time I checked the price quoted by the local dealer was about $1800. Also heard mixed reports about performance.

Yea, I wanted to get one for my pellet boiler so I wouldn't have to have the wife load bags in the hopper when I'm on the road. Was offered a "deal" on one at $1500. Loading bags is good exercise.
