They aren't even relevant anymore. Axl has gone bat *censored* insane and throws tantrums, everyone else in the band does their own thing.

Shame what happened with them, they were on track to be one of the greatest.... I think part of the problem there is how do you follow Appetite For Destruction?

They were the opening act for Motley Crue which was the first real concert I saw at Pocono Downs horse track, that was about '87 and I was 16. :D

I saw that same show at the Centrum in Worcester. Missed 'Roses because we were behind an old factory on the railroad tracks slamming down 40oz. Haffenreffers & packing bowls. Ahhh .. the concert days. Good times!

Appetite was THE BEST album they ever put out. Still get chills & a big adrenaline boost when I listen to them even today.

Yeah, Axl frigged that whole deal up. The next few albums were so shitty I can't even remember the names. Something about spaghetti ...... what sucking sounds that album made ....

In my opinion Appetite is one of the greatest albums of all times, there isn't a single bad track on it. It's in the top 20 all time sold albums. That's what I mean though, how do you follow an album like that especially a debut one?

"Lies" was the next one and that wasn't really an album but pretty decent for it's own reasons. Illusion 1 & 2 after also decent and that's really where it ends.

The Spaghetti album is all covers and the leftovers originally intended to be released with Illusion.

Ahhh that's the one(s) - Use Your Illusion 1 & 2. I couldn't tell you one song from either album.

I agree - every song wasn't just good, but KICK ASS!

I am expressly forbidden from listening to that album while driving .... ;)
