Good luck guys. By sending mail you are just giving them something to burn instead of coal. You think your mail beats the corn lobby that funds the next election - dream on. Dave be careful, Rolls Royces are very touchy about high ethanol mixtures. :D :D Personally, my old Hyundai runs fine but I do use this app... if you have an Iphone.

https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/pure-ga ... ?ls=1&mt=8

The way forward is for a lot of us only to support garages that blend with the lowest level of ethanol. Money talks BS walks. There was a Sunoco station on Rt 40 in Ocala Florida that advertised no ethanol gas... the lines were long. There are KMF files (google earth) and GPS files too. Fill up there and let them know why. Use a fuel tester now and again to keep them honest (ebay) and report here. Hey let's have a thread on this one, that is how to stop it. We simply have to stop just filling up at any gas station as we are low. If you only support low bid then you are setting up for crappy gas. Gas is a commodity like sugar or salt and the rest is BS marketing. I believe there are only about one or two fuel distributors in any one area and the name on the pump is just BS. If one of us phoned them and asked who blended the lowest...... We need more research not mail to corrupt pols.

Here is a start in my neck of the woods.... but be warned they switch to ethanol mixes often when its convenient as they can get away with it so routine testing is needed:

http://pure-gas.org/index.jsp?stateprov=NY

For instance with my Kia Amanti I have proven time and time again that Exxon/Mobil is c rap and Shell, Valero and BP in that order is best for OC NY. As they say your mileage may vary and it really does in this case. remember ethanol raises octane so often 91 is the way to go but then some stations just blend 87 and 93. Research, research, research don't wait for those phkn idiot pols to protect us.

There has been a devastating drought in the mid-west that has seriously lowered corn production as well as crippling the beef industry. As more corn goes to fuel feed prices go up. We don't need corn going into fuel, we need it to feed our cattle, pigs, and chickens.

Seriously?? The same people that want your fuel to skyrocket are also the seed eaters that want to stop the production and eating of animals. This entire Ethanol program is a win win for them. And it isn't planned???? ;)

The flip side is that if we didn't have 10% (soon to be 15%) ethanol in our gasoline, there wouldn't be enough crude oil coming out of the ground of the entire earth for everyone to have all gasoline they desire. I'm convinced that is why ethanol is present.

Remember the words of J. P. Morgan, who openly declared that he had two reasons for everything, a good reason, and a real reason. I'm convinced that our government works much the same way, and we only hear the "good" reason as to why they do anything.

That is a distinct possibility .... and could be why (among a few other reasons) the gov't is stockpiling ammo in preparation for civil unrest ... :gee: Never know.

Forgot to mention that it kills 2 stroke and older 4 stroke motors and this is a goal of seed eaters and environazis also. More then one way to change things then just have a cash for clunkers program.
