Hand Fed Coal Stove: Coal Chubby

Post by Coal-Chub-E » Sun. Mar. 03, 2013 4:17 pm

Ok guys im bored, so I shot some video of some anthracite burning in my chubby. I'm new to burning coal, my question is thus...in the video, you can see on the right side of the screen a blue plasma like material which I assume are the volatiles burning off. Are these the "dancing ladies" I've read about? They are pretty cool and mesmerizing.

Thanks,

Eric

Thanks Waldo. I see your from Ithaca, my wife's family is from Candor, NY (a little south of Ithaca). We always go to the Ithaca Mall when we are up there visiting! Cayuga Lake and the Ithaca area is beautiful. But, cold!! They all swear the "Rose" restauant is heaven on earth.
