Same here. After burning 4 tons of ROCK it's nice to be able to shake my stove again without dumping the fire every 2-3 nights ...
I had to shut my stove down a couple of weeks ago. I keep trying to hold out hope it will get cold enough again this year to fire it up again it was in the high 60s today and it looks like other then one or two days it's gonna stay that warm.
Nope. Winter is holding on. Mid to upper 30's during the day with mid to low 20's at night forecast for the next 10 days. Momma has gotten used to the house at 75. If I was to shut down the stove she would cause separation of body parts which I have grown accustomed to being attached.

Supposed to snow next week for us. I don't think it's going to accumulate because day time temps are supposed to be in the 40's but it's calling for snow Monday - Thursday.
