Hello All,
First, let me say: My KAA2's system is setup pumping the water 24/7. Water goes to two hot water coils located in basment, in two seperate duct systems. Fans are controlled, run as needed. Simple, but I wonder if I'm wasting coal, even though all piping is in conditioned basement area. I'm contemplating a re-do, using zone valves, controlled circ pump etc.
I'm not too swift on controls. Looking at Keystoker's new wiring schematic, it shows the room 'stat and 4006B [dump aquastat] parallelled to the TT terminals.
My questions;
1. During an boiler over-temp condition, when the 4006B makes, why doesn't the stoker run too? Does the 8124 being above high limit prevent the stoker from running, via cutting current to the B1 terminal?
2. I also assume that during a boiler over-temp condition, the keep fire timer will still power the stoker, but the timer does NOT [ever] bring the circ pump on.

Thanks.
