missed freds breakfast, grabbed a bowl of rice chex w/a banana sliced in it. early start to beat weather, got to friends took out last lower plunger runner(torcH), setup blaster and started to blast, main plunger chute area cleaned up nice, then on to pickup reel main frame, cam plate, and 2 useable runners from chute. Gave chute heavy coat primer till i spray it green tomorrow, but did get 2 runners and P/U frame painted. Still have few more parts to blast, but thats next weekend. Then i can sart to reassemble the pickup frame and put new runners in chute. Plunger pitman arm is needing some machine work though, bore end, make new bushings and pin. Bushings in it now wore thru in spots to steel, so its all custom make parts for this part.

One tab is needed to be fabbed for P/U frame, but wanted to paint it before it rerusted from blasting. 3 other runners will be replced new(pricey) because of wear on them(thin).

Pickup reel tine bars done, except for small twist in end of one minus one set tiines. Little heat and a twist, then tine it, and put new cam followers in the ends, and start assembling the pickup rell. Still have 11 more stripper guards to wet sand and paint.

Ever notice how washers these days are not as they say they are? have 3/8 bolts holding tines, but 5/16 washers fit them perfect, as a true SAE 3/8 washer would. Go figure.
