I have this gem that has NEVER BEEN USED. Still has wood packing block and original yellow.paint inside.
I have never come across a stove this old that was never used. Iam looking to put it in someones hands who would appreciate this piece. All original paint etc in near mint condition.
ANYONE WANT TO MAKE AN OFFER.

This was my great grandfather's stove that was passed down to me. I had it in a storage unit and
Had plans on passing it down to my children. Unfortunately we are Victims of Hurricane Sandy
And lost our home and had no flood insurance. We are living in a hotel and need money to pay for it since the place I used to work got destroyed too and I have no income. I figured you guys would appreciate the stove and especially the fact that it has not been used. I didn't want to put it on eBay because I thought maybe someone here would make me a fair offer but so far I have only been offered $250 which wouldn't cover the cost of the motel for one week. I have researched the last couple that sold at Ginger Creek Stoves and they went for $1,500. Thats restored. This was neer even used. If one of you guys wants it and will give me something we both can live with.I would be able to live with $475 (cost if 1week hotel) If anyone needs more pictures I will gladly post more or email.

This stove could be used in you Pocono house for he next 100 years. Its from P.A. come on guys no nostalgia here? Do you really want me putting it on eBay and ship it to some yuppie out in L.A ?
Can someone tell me how often you come across a stove that's 120 or so years old that was NEVER used?

I figure it is fair and yes I will be in touch to arrange the details tomorrow. Just thought I'd post what I am taking for it in case I'm making a mistake so someone could tell me. Hate to have a very valuable stove and take less than 25% of what its worth. Just testing the water to see if its a good deal. I figure if your offering $250 its worth $500-$750 retail. Unless someone says I'm an idiot its yours. Lol

I hope you sold your stove. If it weren't for the cracked grate and stove body I would have bought it. It was a nice day for a road trip and the stop at cabelas was awesome . 8-)
