Smitty you would need a 2/3 vote by the Senate for ratification and then it would need to pass the Constitutional smell test. It will fail on both counts.

When was the last time the Constitution mattered to Congress?

I don't really see where congress gives a hoot about the Constitution except when they need something to stick under the leg of a wobbly table or chair. To the vast majority of congress and seemingly a large number of people in the country the Constitution is just a old outdated piece of parchment with no relevance to the modern culture.

Not that I want to see it happen. In fact I really hope it doesn't but if it does. What will they do about it? If the UN tries to come in to enforce it. That will start a war they cannot win. Even Reid realized the AWB will not fly and dropped it from the vote. So the worst that may happen is the UBC but most will not comply anyway and it will be to difficult to enforce. The 10 rd mag ban would suck but there are a lot out there with out dates how will they know. They are loosing. For now anyway.
