Feinstein gun ban DOA

PostBy: plumb-r On: Wed Mar 20, 2013 6:17 am

Majority leader Harry Reid said that "Feinstein"gun ban bill didn't have enough support to clear the senate,so is not going to be considered at this time :D . So what are they really going to get? Did the left just over reach? Is this just going to be a state by state thing now? I feel sorry for the people stuck in New York, Maryland ect..

Awesome. I'd suspect that with all the backlash the local states are getting from their bans it'll eventually fall apart. That's just my guess though.

I never thought her bill would have a chance, just way too much but at the same time I think both houses should at the very least make one round of votes just so everyone knows how they stand. With no vote they just say whatever the group they are speaking to at that moment wants to hear. As I said before both sides play both sides & they are all cowards & I find the left to be more so than the right. I'm glad her bill was put off but I think we should have gotten something out of it, like perhaps a real discussion rather than just extreme left or right.

There is nothing to discuss, or as Hillary would say, does it really matter how or why at this point. As Senator Cruz from Texas pointed out, Feinstein doesn't even know what's in the constitution. :D Now to start working on keeping the magazines. :D

I chalk this up as a win. I dont think they are going to push it too much farther, someone somewhere has a head on their shoulders and decided this was probably a BAD idea. You can't have a tradition of guns for as long as we have in the US and just expect everyone to roll over. Even the politicians that want to take them wont say they do because they wont get re-elected. 2016 is looking promising IMO. I think we as a nation are going to wake up and elect someone with some BALLS into office.

Myself, I will continue on my current path...getting as much as I can!

Ir wasn't politically prudent for many Democrats in the Senate, simple as that. It's a no win situation for many of them no matter which way they voted. There is only a slim possibility it gets out of the Senate and since this has absolutely no possibility of passing the House a vote can only harm them politically.

Exactly, Richard.

Mr. Reid’s decision was likely aimed at bolstering the party’s chances to pass some gun control, even if it’s not as restrictive as many on the left would like.

Now we know why the Feinstein bill was beaten ....

These pricks will never give up - at least not during obama's term:
