I had a very exciting day!

PostBy: coalkirk On: Fri Mar 22, 2013 6:13 pm

Today I met the super bowl MVP. I got to spend a couple hours with him. I did the home inspection on his new home. He's a really great guy. Very down to earth. Not at all full of himself.

Nah, I would not use my fortunate access in this case to profit. It would violate the code of ethics I must follow as a member of ASHI. I did ask him if he would mind signing my wifes Flacco jersey which he graciously did. I can assure you she would NEVER sell it. I've had an Ed Reed Jersey for 11 years but I'm going to have to buy a new one now that he's gone to the Houstan Texans. :taz:

Ya... I hear you bro ;) I was just joking and I would not bring a case of footballs to the job either  Its nice he signed one shirt for you though (its probably worth more then he paid for the inspection so dont forget to claim that on your taxes, the IRS would view that as income)

Terry, thanks for sharing! You are a professional, and I'd expect nothing else in your handling of this very fortunate meeting.
Somehow I'll bet coal heating did NOT come up, but he knows how to get in touch if it does!

Even those of you who don't follow sports have seen his picture on every form of media, and the good news is: he is a great guy, who just happens to have a talent in the field of football. (That is an understatement!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

I'm guessing you guys have no snow down there, no frost in the roadways, no frost heaves.....well, at least we have some damned fine Maple Products being produced!
If you thought 'oil' was liquid gold, think again...Maple Syrup in Grade A Fancy is $72.00 a gallon!!
If you have never been to a Sugar House when they are boiling...you owe it to yourself and friends to do so.....no matter how famous you are!   :!:

   Well I guess he is a bigger deal here than other parts of the country, but that is Ravens quarterback and Super Bowl 2013 MVP Joe Flacco, #5.

No whistlenut, coal heating did not come up. His home will use lots of natural gas. Four HVAC systems. We got out first real snow on Monday, about 4" and its gone already. Never been to a sugar house but its on my list of things to do when i get a chance to visit NE.

Joe F.is from my old neighborhood...sort of. He is from mins Mt Ephraim, NJ, just a few miles from my previous home.

Another fine player NOT drafted by the Eagles in their own back yard. Played for the Blue Hens in DE. Mt Ephraim is 15 mins from the Eagles Lincoln Financial Field & training facility.
