Carroll Quigley, one of Bill Clintons professors, wrote a book about the inner workings of the Council on Foreign Relations. A group at the time, supposedly didn't exist. The book wasn't a critique, he firmly believes in these ideals. If you can find a copy of the book, I suggest picking it up. Oddly enough, it's not really in print anymore.
