Term Limits for Legislators

It's my belief that one of the biggest issues and probably one of the reasons our government is so corrupt is because once they get in their its nearly impossible to get them out. Trying to unseat an incumbent, especially one that has been there for many years that can really bring home the bacon has become a uphill task for any newcomer. So what 's everyone think? I'd suggest for example one term limit for senators and maybe 3 for Representatives. Same goes for every office whether its state or local. they should all have term limits so we continually get new blood into these positions.

I think the only people who think term limits are a bad idea are the politicians and the lobbyists.

Interesting no one voted no yet. I expected it to be lopsided, going to be interesting to see where it goes.

I think they should get a 6month probationary period . They don't do what they promised, throw there asses out on the street .

Well that's mostly the trouble, some new guy can make all the promises he wants but he isn't getting anything unless he plays ball.

I agree. Congress works strictly on seniority rather than merit.
