It is good that he is young and heals quickly. That had to HURT!!! ......and they still went on to win. Good effort, great medical help right there...and a tough young man! He'll be fine, and is a role model to other young folks. :!:  :!:

I'm glad the video has been removed then and I didn't see it. :P

I have the classic angel on one shoulder and the devil on the other shoulder. The devil says "You know want to see it!" and the angel is saying "Don't do it!"....

I had the same argument in my head for a couple hours and the devil won!

I thought Tim Krumrie's injury looked gruesome when he played in the superbowl for the Bengals. This is way worse. I hope he ends up ok.

I broke my leg badly and dislocated my ankle tearing ligaments sliding into home plate about 30 years ago and I still cannot watch injuries like that without getting nightmares of that slide again. I still remember the sound, grinding sensation and initial pain very vividly.

For some unfortunate reason I always seem to notice the knee or foot or leg going way out of wack in real time before the replays, last night was no exception when I saw him land and crumple I saw his leg snapped. Nobody else saw it and I left the room before they showed the replay and listened to everyone else groan when they saw it.

Like when RGIII went down on that play late in the playoff game I saw his knee went so far sideways, but my FIL watching it at the same time never saw it until the replay. The O's player last week that hurt his knee was another one, the S.Carolina football player, Theismann, Krumrie in the SB - I'll never forget his leg just flopping over following the rest of his body as he fell.

I was watching and I played b-ball well into my 40's. I had a 48 inch leap when I was in my prime and I came down anyway you can imagine. It made me sick and I have seen dislocations, breaks, tears and sprains. I have felt my own ankles snap, and heard others snap also. But that was gruesome. I immediately thought he might have a bone issue. Time will tell. I will not go in search of the video either, I saw it 3 times, twice in slow mo.

I understand that he is back up & about. Come on guys, it's a compound fracture, comes with the territory. His words were--"win the game" that's what being a sportsman is about. Takes me back to high school football--took the refs quite a while to get about 10 tacklers slowly off me one by one so they could get me & my torn up clavicle in the ambulance. I lived to play another day. This kid will be back. :)
