I think the airlines knowing where she was going should have been able to tell her that state or cities law on handguns, I'm sure they have run into something simular before. That's where the different state laws should reconize that the average person doing what they believe is right poses no threat & isn't intentionally breaking the law. I have the same crap here, with the bridge out on Rt. 6 I have to drive in Ohio to get anywhere so I can't legally carry unless I also spend $ & get an out of state license.
She is part of the problem and got caught up in her own *censored* and beliefs.
Here is her quote from the end of the article. “I agree with gun laws to decrease violent crimes. I do my best to set a good example for my daughter and to be a law abiding citizen. I am from a family who is involved in the community, my mother is a retired teacher and my father owns a small business,” she wrote. [...] I was misinformed. Crimes should be judged on a case by case basis, and what is happening to me and my family is wrong.”
We own about 100 acres that border PA and NY. The border runs right through a field and woods, tough to tell where it is without looking at a map. We like to head over there and blow stuff up from time to time, just for giggles. I have hunted that ground for years and never had an issue. Might have to re-think that now. Might be a lot more LEOs running around since NY has become a communist state.
