Ice has come off a major part of the lake. The babysitter will be here in a couple hours and I have some jerk baits and swim baits that need to be slow rolled for a few hours...

Anyone else have the fever?

Nice fish! Never been a trout fisherman, I like the large mouth bass myself. Throw in some pike and catfish and it is just about as close to a heaven as there can be.

I got the itch. Had to work today (opening day, trout, PA) but may try to get out tomorrow. Steams are high and brown. I got out in winter gear about a month ago, but no hits. Still using spinning gear. I look forward to some rises and doing some fly fishing up around Benton, PA.
