I have a small collection of anthracite mining memorabilia...including an old brochure from Reading Anthracite titled "Buried Sunshine". It tells a similar story.

But 250,000 people watched this....

Hopeless. Forget the attack on coal, it's the attack on capitalism.

OMG... I'm so mad I even watch that  "dirty journey".... what about oils dirty Journey through the oceans, shores and beaches of the Gulf or the precious sanctuaries of Alaska! "we would like to keep the coal in the ground forever"... but what... we want instead to tap and release all the crude oil to the surface of the planet?

The 1920 vid is lil' more to my liking... OSHA & EPA gonna have a bone to pick  Those were the days when men were men! holy crap!

I like the film from the 20s I actually learnd something from it, I did not know most of the anthracite was lost to glaciers. I did not learn anything from the new video, but it did re-enforce my understanding that liberals a clueless lot.
