*gulp* Nice car, but ouch on the price. The feds will give the same $7500 max credit. One thing about the credit...it does NOT roll over like a solar panel credit does.

Another week crossed off, another pile of coal up in smoke. This week was a cold one for us...windy, damp, and snow/ice/rain yesterday. I just got back from dad's house, had to check out his latest addition to his rifle collection. He got two Remington Model 600 rifles, one is a 350 Mag. and the other a 6.5mm. I'm not sure if those are the shortest and lightest rifles ever made, but they must be in the top 5.

Water softener is still running good, white deposits in the fixtures are crumbling away and things are looking better every day.

31.2 MPG in the Subaru last week...very impressive so far.

Up early, took a joe to go from house... up to marathon NY to meet Freetown Fred. he, I & GF did breakfast there, everyone knows Fred.... even the guys in blue uniforms and badges, looked him over and nodded. Then off to freds friend, Jacobs to get some lumber for redoig hay wagon, checked out the horses they use to skid lumber out of woods, nice team. Squared up with Jacob for what we talked about before, and need to get a few more counts to him for uprights for wagon. Then To Freetowns palace on the hill, meet his horses, and home. Nice place. GF likes the one rocker he has... Times running, also then went up to JD dealer (cortland) get them golden cored JD parts... Now home. grand son needs my help taking his atv apart so he can repaint the frame, and chassis parts. Then after that iwill get to do some work on baler.. putting the golden parts on... and later up to farm measure up the wagon, and decide what I will need for uprights.... heck suppose I should just get all lumber there... will have to see.

Nice to meet Ya fred... dang your tall.... or ws the hells on those pump cowboy boots that gave that look...t talk to everyone later, things to do NOW!! grand sons waiting..LOL

Just changed the oil in a car that cost almost as much as my house!! It's a M/B A55 AMG. WAAAAY outta my league!! The damn seats give you a squeeze on the left or right, depending on which way your cornering. More options than I could learn how to use in one month. I think they send you to school to learn how to set everything ... :D Took 9 QUARTS of oil! Leaks oil like a Chevy, though.

I'm in love!! 590HP / 612 ft.lbs .... AT THE WHEELS!!!!

Makes me giggle like a schoogirl!! :D

Nice ride Smitty...MB sure knows how to make some impressive powerplants. They also have some rather unique oil specifications.

Not in the market for anymore winter rats myself. I wonder how many bales of hay that MB would hold? toothy I had a nice visit from fellow coal burner & forum member wilder11354 this AM. We did breakfast & Bill & his GF got a tour of the area. Real nice folks--COUNTRY through & through ;) It's always outstanding to see who is on the other end of this machine. Real good turn out for the Maple Fest from what I saw today, we'll see what tomorrow brings other then a little snow they're calling for. I hope everybody is having a good week-end so far.

Ahhh....A cup of day-old coffee from Freddy,a new DSL Modem/Router to access the Net & I'm back up and running ! Had nothing but major trouble getting and staying online, but I stayed with it and finally found a Com-Tech from the Com Company who really cared and worked with me to solve the problem ! Thanx to Darrien and Scott from Windstream ! Freddy, keep us posted on the battery performance and range on that eggshell. If you and Marty use it within it's design parameters, you shouldn't have any trouble. My biggest concern, especially in N.E.Ohio,is the Brine/Salt de-icing that they use on our roads in the winter. Unless they really buttoned up that car to keep contaminants away from the electrical connections and components,it could spell trouble for operating trouble-free on a year round basis. You're our test case !! Enjoy the weekend, everyone ! :)

Missed Saturday coffee but I’m here Monday night sipping a Sam Adams and munching on cheese. I figured out why Le Gruyére cheese costs so much…..Because it’s worth it! Damn that stuff is good.

SMITTY, did you do this?

I haven't received any emails from him in months - usually I'll get a few from him. No idea what's going on. Been meaning to call him for a while now .. but every time I get a second it's 10:30 at night.

Now you got me worried. I'll see what I can find out ....
