Meet and Greet 2013, June 29

The Fireplace Gallery and Reading Coal will offer a substantial discount off of The Fireplace Gallery's normal retail price. This offer is only good on Saturday the 29th and is for pickup only at the Fireplace Gallery, there is no rain checks in the event he runs out. I believe Dan said he was charging $200 for the Nut and Pea and $210 for oiled Rice in bulk, keep in mind he's not a breaker. He does have concrete pads for storing the coal, a loader and a certified scale.

  • $175/ton Pea & Nut in bulk.
  • $185/ton Rice in bulk. Note the rice is oiled to help with the dust.
  • $245/ton bagged coal any size.

There is no buckwheat available.

The Fireplace Gallery is about 5 minutes from the cabin so it will be very convenient stop. If you're coming from far away definitely worth it to fill up your pickup or trailer if you have one. Of course if you want to make other arrangements elsewhere feel free.

I'll also note that Dan from the Fireplace Gallery will be attending later in the afternoon and a representative from Reading may be there as well.

Right now I have no head count for anyone. next weekend I'll try and get an idea of how many and who's staying, who's eating etc.

Breakfast is up in the air, the only thing I'm guaranteeing is two meals on the 29th if you're paying the full price.

Thanks to Larry's generous donation I have a lot of the costs for the cabin covered, the band is free as they are good friends. ;)

If there is money left I'll use it to pay for breakfast. If there is a lot of money left I'll need to figure out something to do with it.

I don't want to say no especially since some people may not be able to attend if they have a dog but if everybody brings their dog it just gets to be too much especially if you don't like dogs. I've had dogs since I was born. Mine will be staying home. ;)

That said long as it's well behaved you can but you'll have to keep bowser on a leash. Depending on how things go that may change as the day progresses. Of course if you're going to take them for a walk in the woods you can let them off.

Can we bring our cats? :woot: :funny:

Just kidding! Got way too much going on here anyway, and these days long distance travel without pay just doesn't work. I'm sure I'll meet some of you one of these days. ;)
