sunnyday coal furnace

I have an old coal furnace in the home I purchased with the name on it as SUNNYDAY and with the certification plate as Viking Jr. Is this a brand of Viking Jr or did someone replace the certification plate. I am having trouble having it certified. The inspectors believes someone replaced the certification plate. Has anyone ever heard of a SUNNDAY Coal furnace

The proper terminology is a coal fired hot water heating boiler. Furnaces heat air. Boilers heat water.

Baseburners & Antiques: rebuilding a 1906 March Brownback Double Heater, using a UMCO 1920's Pot Belly stove in the church
Coal Size/Type: Pea/Nut/Wood in the VC and anything that will fit in the Bucket a Day. It's not fussy.

Contact Shafter Brothers in Montreal. They're the ones that had the Viking Junior boilers certified by Warnock Hersey.

Tag should of been located in the center above ash door.

Mine has 'Warden King' cast into the front section just below the feed door and 'Viking Junior' cast into the top clean out door. The 'Warnock Hersey' certification tag is riveted to the ash door. It's certified to burn anthracite, bituminous coal and wood.

Im sure during some years tags were left over and used from Wardon King by Crane and castings were certainly stocked... Its the same boiler either way ;)
