Pulled the plug on the LL Econo1. I refuse to keep burning up till the day before Knoebels Amusement Park opens for the season. I'll put on the propane kitchen range before I keep burning coal this late in the season.

Yup, the DS 1600 is full of pea and idles anywhere between 150*-280* depending on the weather outside. Woke up Thursday morning to frost. Its still getting into the high 20's and low 30's at night.

Yeah yeah yeah...momma said she was cold and told me to relite the stove. I told her it was too late in the season to keep burning. Her reply? I don't care what the calendar says, I'm cold.

I relit the stove.

Shelley likes to keep the house at 70F and the other night it plunged to 69.5F and she complained it was cold. I am still burning, she loves her coal fire.

Was going to shut down yesterday. Good thing I looked at the weather. Cold and rainy for the next few days. No, I think I'll keep her lit for a week more.

I let mine go out over the weekend but started her back up today. It should be in the 70's the rest of the week though so I will let it go out again tomorrow.
